We’re hoping that you fine people can help us celebrate our 60th anniversary this year – by sharing the memories you have of the group’s productions – particularly those in the 1980s and 1990s (our production of Hamlet from 1990 is pictured).

As well as holding a number of special events celebrating our diamond anniversary, we will be publishing a souvenir book detailing each of the open–air Shakespeare productions we’ve performed in the last 60 years.

Whilst we have an extensive archive of our own, we’re hoping to make contact with anyone involved – cast, crew or audience members – who might have photographs or memories of the shows, especially those which were performed in the 1980s and 1990s, to help compile a complete record of the group’s output.

Anyone who thinks they have anything that would help the project, or knows someone who does, can contact John Shippey on archive@satg.org.uk.

Thanks in advance!
