“Something for Huntingdon to be very proud of…”
Wonderful performance of Pericles on 4 July Shakespeare at the George. The cast and crew pulled out all the stops and even made a complicated tale of incest, shipwreck, death/resurrection and adventure hilarious in places. Well done to all from front of house to back-room boys – and not forgetting the wonderful music and choreography! For those who have never been to a show, forget awful school-drama and boring readings, this is lively and easy to follow. It’s something for Huntingdon to be very proud of and good to note that people travel from all over the country to see it.
